You can turn your Bluetooth on and off very easily from the Bluetooth icon in your Mac's Menu Bar. We’ve scoured the web looking for answers to the most prevalent OS X Yosemite issues and started compiling a running list here – along with possible fixes. Start by disconnecting all USB devices connected to your machine and shut your machine down. I tried the *.plist and SMC reset method several times, before doing NVRAM-reset as the last resort.
