And I don't believe it really re-calibrates anything either, but it does seem to help, sometimes for quite a long time. Some users reported that their home button finally improved after 3-4 repeats . If so, cool. And we all know the story behind the home buttons in older devices like the iPhone 4 and 3GS where it used to get clogged and unresponsive after a while. Thank you!!!! Once this happens, release the power button, and then press and hold the home button instead. Apple may be able to repair the hardware, but this canbe expensive - perhaps to the point where it would be more sensible to spend more and get an entirely new this contact form and otherwise gotta pay ridic amount of money to upgrade.

I have to press the Home button really hard to get it to respond, and sometimes even that doesn't work. The 2nd method you suggested works just great, THANK YOU! But maybe I'll get an upgrade this year since I'm starting to feel behind the times. Thanks so much!
