Those who wish to quickly test their Z-2300 can ignore most of this. Although fantastic for customer service, this approach to repairs is incredibly wasteful. However, reducing the PC volume so much decreases fidelity, so I would really like to fix the Logitech problem. i found one seller of the speaker's would not go lower than 50.00 each which = 100.00 + shipping and 44.00 for the control pod.

You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really will need to…HaHa). Reading this post here, however, I am left with even more questions regarding the signal handling. Logitech Z 2300 Control Pod Fix Everything else works just fine set the configuration of you sound effect / 2 channel ...its maybe your speaker is 6 chan configured. Z2300 Control Pod spent 3 hours salvaging components from somewhere to use in my z2300 and it works perfectly.
