My salesman was surprised when the computer let him offer the battery for free. Removed a swelling battery last year. For temporary relief of a trackpad that does not click can be accomplished by pushing it down. It could be then not a physical problem, but kind of a "calibrating" issue.

Hardware issues are not fun and can definately be a pain, but fortunately mine was in the software. The serial number on hardware just tells me 13 inch, mid 2009. Here's the removal and replacement procedure. Thank you so much.

So my question is, where can I find a replacement for that screw? another satisfied customer!
