Your iPad, is it running iOS 5.0, 5.01, 5.1, 5.1.1? Running Yosemite on Mac mid 2010 and all seems to be working fine now! I have leaned towards the problem being the email client on my Samsung tablet, but then I have the same issue with the Android News program also.
