Intel Speedstep Not Working Windows 8
I just installed Windows 8 last night on my PC with a MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) with the BIOS set to its default settings (EIST enabled, C1E enabled) with a mild overclock not even after a reboot. Honestly, I am liking Win 8 and understand/get Metro and what it brings to the table. Updated the Password Bypass feature. What is interesting is that Turbo Boost gets enabled in OS only when SpeedStep is enabled as well in BIOS. Fixed issue where a UEFI OS install would fail with greater than 8GB of memory.
